An agreement has finally been reached in Tom Pendergrass's case, in which the wrestler was charged with Assault and Battery a Police Officer. He was arrested on March 9th after a brawl took place between he, TJ Parks, Melanie Ramirez, and Mariella Lopez, and he accidentally struck an officer in the confusion. He was immediately taken in and placed in Solitary Confinement, but was released a day later on $9,000 bail. While the charges of Trespassing and Disturbing The Peace were dropped, his Assault and Battery charge was taken to court after the injuries of the officer in question were made public, and he was looking at anywhere between three and ten years of jail time if found guilty.
In his plea deal, Pendergrass's charges were reduced, and he was sentenced to 3 years of Probation, a $90,00 fine to be paid to the officer in question, and is strictly prohibited form leaving the country during his probation period outside of any work obligations to Japan Pro Wrestling, with no exceptions.
